Code ethics

Article 1

SAYE s.p.a., hereinafter SAYE, conforms its activity to the attitudes, principles and values contained in the present Code, in the conviction that the ethics in conducting business are to be pursued along with the success of the undertaking.

Article 2

SAYE’s primary objective is the creation of value for all subjects involved in the projects undertaken and for the community in which they are established.  


To this end, the strategies and operative activities are all oriented and inspired by the perceptible maximization of the value achieved.


In pursuing this objective, SAYE keeps to the following principles of behavior:

 

  • Responsibility and commitment to respecting the laws in force in the States in which or from which its activity is performed, and coherence with the ethical principles commonly accepted and sanctioned by international standards for conducting business affairs:  transparency, propriety, loyalty and legality;
  • Responsibility and commitment to pursuing its own objectives exclusively through quality and excellence of performance, dedication to the client and its own partners, and the competence, ability to react and dynamic nature of resources employed;
  • Responsible prevention, through the application of adequate and innovative organizational instruments, of violations of the principles of transparency, propriety, loyalty and legality on the part of its own employees and collaborators, by supervising their observance and concrete implementation;
  • Assuring the market, partners, clients, resources used and the community in general, while within the legitimate protection of the competitiveness of the undertakings pursued, of SAYE’s complete transparency;
  • Responsible commitment to loyal competition, considered essential and useful to SAYE’s own interests, as well as to those of all subjects involved with SAYE;
  • Attention and implementation of excellence and competitiveness in the marketplace, proposing and performing investment projects and services of high added value, that respond in an efficient and effective manner to the needs of all subjects involved;
  • Protection and enhancement of human resources, promoting also in SAYE’s own interests, the best training and professional growth on all levels of the company’s hierarchy;
  • Utmost respect of the environment and rights of future generations.

 

Article 3

SAYE builds the excellence of its activity on confidentiality and privacy in interpersonal relationships, on attention to the clientele and partners, on availability in satisfying specific requests in the best and fastest way.  The goal pursued is that of guaranteeing an immediate, qualified and competent response, conforming its own behavior to propriety, courtesy, maximum collaboration and dedication.

Article 4

SAYE promotes and maintains relationships with the local, national, and supra-national public Authorities that are inspired by the full and effective collaboration and transparency, in the respect of reciprocal autonomy, of economic goals and values contained in this Code.


SAYE considers with favor, and if it is the case, furnishes support to social, cultural and educational initiatives oriented toward the promotion of people and the betterment of their living conditions.

Article 5

SAYE recognizes the centrality of human resources in the conviction that the principal factor of success in any undertaking is made up of the professional contribution of the people working there, that is often decisive, in a framework of loyalty, dedication and reciprocal trust.
SAYE promotes safety and health in the workplace and believes the respect of workers’ rights is fundamental to the execution of economic activity.  The management of working relationships is oriented toward guaranteeing equal opportunity and enhancing each individual’s professional growth.

Article 6

SAYE believes in sustainable global growth in line with respect for the environment and public health.  In keeping with the specific laws applicable, SAYE keeps in mind the environmental problems in the definition of its own choices, even through adoption of particular technologies and methods, where operatively and economically possible, that allow for reducing even beyond the limits of the norms, the environmental impact of their own activities.
SAYE promotes the use where possible of the best technologies using a clean, renewable energy matrix.

Article 7

All of SAYE’s social organs, management, employees, as well as external collaborators, such as consultants and subjects that maintain relationships with SAYE, are held to respect the present Code.
SAYE is committed to implementing specific procedures, regulations or instructions with the goal of assuring that the attitudes, principles and values affirmed here are respected in concrete behavior of each party involved with SAYE and its activities.
